To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement. You may qualify at the GS-6 level if you fulfill the following qualifications: -SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: One (1) year of specialized experience that equipped you with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of this position. To be creditable, this experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-5 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience includes: extracting information and mileage from a road atlas and city street maps; interpreting contracts for transportation services; controlling and maintaining accounting records for travel accounts; preparing correspondence regarding transportation benefits/reimbursement; and analyzing and creating data reports showing volume and costs of transportation. Physical Requirements: No special physical exertion is required. The work is primarily sedentary though some work may require periods of standing. The regular and recurring work of the position involves sitting at a desk, conferences, meetings, ect., and occasional visits to activity work sites. Occasional use of automobile and public conveyances may be required. The work requires no special physical demands but will require some physical effort such as standing, walking, bending or sitting.
